Singam Puli is launched

Silver line Film Factory managed by S.Parthi and S.S Vaasan steps into cinema for the first time to produce the movie titled ‘Singam Puli’. Directed by Sairamani the movie’s music is tuned by Manisharma. Puja of the movie was held at AVM old Pillayar Kovil today morning around 9-10.30 am.

For the first time Jeeva, the lead hero of the movie plays dual role. Divya Spandana is his lead pair. One character of Jeeva enacts a man who sells fish. Singam Puli is set to roll camera very soon!

Ramya , also known by her real name Divya Spandana, is a popular actress in the Kannada and Tamil films. Ramya was born in Bangalore, Karnataka on November 29, 1981.

Ramya stepped into the film industry with Kannada movie “Abhi” starring against Puneet Rajkumar. Being her latest hit “Arasu” along with Puneet Rajkumar and Meera Jasmine released in early 2007 has done well again. She is considered to be “golden girl” in Kannada film industry as she has the success rate of close to 90% in her career.

The movie “Amrithadhare” shows her acting in one of her recent films directed by Nagathihalli Chandrasekhar. Her debut film in Kollywood had bombed at the boxoffice.

Her breakthrough in Tamil came through her film “Polladhavan” (2007 film) where she acted against Dhanush. The film was considered a dark horse success , being released during the Deepavali period. Rajinikanth was all praises for the entire crew of Polladhavan.

She also worked in Gautham Menon’s “Varanam Aayiram” opposite Surya. She changed her screen name to Divya which is believed to have brought her more luck in getting hi-fling roles and she has also dubbed in her own voice for Varanam Aayiram.

Her tamil movies include “Kuthu“(2003) opposite Silambarasan, Giri (2004) opposite Arjun, Thoondil (2008) opposite Shaam. She is busy with the movies “Kadhal 2 Kalyanam” and “Singam Puli“.
